21 new scores available
Many of the scores I’m publishing today exist because of persistent emails from pianists around the world. Thank you for checking in with me!
Some of these arrangements were written over two decades ago for Anderson & Roe performances. They were never intended for publication; they were practical working scores quickly prepared for rehearsals and performances. I honestly didn’t imagine so many pianists would want to play them themselves.
But then the emails kept arriving.
What followed has been a far bigger undertaking than I ever anticipated. Over the past several months, I’ve revisited every one of these works, re-engraving every page, standardizing notation, correcting countless details, incorporating years of performance revisions, and adding the (all too few) fingerings Liz and I use onstage.
Several of these arrangements are published through ArrangeMe.com, which has made it possible to license many copyrighted songs that would otherwise be impractical for an independent composer to publish. It’s not a solution for every piece, but it has opened the door for many works that listeners have requested for years.
Four works for two pianos and orchestra are now available, including complete conductor’s scores and orchestral parts. Preparing those materials turned out to be a project unto itself, involving months of engraving and proofreading (with invaluable help from my copyists!). Two of those works—Carmen Fantasy and Danse Macabre—are available either as PDF purchases or traditional rental materials.
This release is only the beginning. I’m still actively working toward publishing favorites from our duo catalog like the Hallelujah Variations, the Piazzolla arrangements, and the West Side Story Suite. Those projects remain very much alive, and I’m doing everything I can to bring them to you as soon as possible.
For now, I’m delighted to share these 21 new releases:
